Petition Action

Reform tax law to end the mass exploitation of the system by the very wealthy

Petition Details

UK tax law is an unnecessarily complex mess that serves only those that can afford specialist advice needed to exploit the many loopholes.
We seek a complete overhaul that treats citizens fairly and stops rewarding the super-wealthy / corporations / tax avoiders

Additional Information

"Paradise Papers" reveal extensive blatant abuse of the UK tax system, usually via networks of offshore companies created solely to help avoid tax. The response is often "all tax laws were complied with" but the underlying reason is clear and must be changed. Some examples are listed at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-41880153
