1.Common Agricultural Policy, which costs British households around £16.7 billion per annum in higher food prices as a result of having to subsidise inefficient and expensive farming policies across the EU and which also causes needless poverty in developing nations by creating barriers for their food exports to the EU.

2.Common Fisheries Policy, which costs Britain around £4.7 billion per annum, has been a environmental catastrophe with thousands of tonnes of fish thrown back into the sea and which has destroyed thousands of jobs in the British fishing industry
