Provide more support for ex servicemen and women living on uk streets
I am calling for the uk government to provide support for all ex servicemen and women living on the streets of the country.
The support they need is both mental and the support to get them off the street and back to families or into jobs
In 2013 9000 ex servicemen and women were living on the streets with no support.
This year 2017 there is currently 7500 ex servicemen and women living on the streets who all need the help and support they deserve for risking their lives for our country many of them suffer from PTSD and they need the support to help them

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about veterans who are homeless, but we're not sure exactly what action you want the UK Government or Parliament to take.
For example, you could start a new petition asking for the UK Government or Parliament to increase funding and accessibility of mental health services for veterans and/or to fund homes for veterans who become homeless, if that's what you want to happen.
