Protect our children from alcohol advertising
Alcohol is damaging the lives and futures of our children and young people.
Research shows that alcohol advertising plays a significant role, encouraging young people to start drinking at an earlier age and in greater quantities.
The current advertising regulations are failing to protect our children from being bombarded by alcohol advertising.
We are calling on Government to introduce regulations to prevent advertising targeted at young people on television, in cinemas and on social networking sites and sponsorship of cultural or sport events.
