Should Euthanasia or assisted suicide be legalised in the UK?
The question for politicians in Britain today is why do you force citizens in the most terrible circumstances to leave their country and exercise their free will to end their suffering.
Both Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide are illegal under the English Law and is punishable by up to 14 years imprisonment under the (Suicide Act 1961).
If a member of your family was in unbearable pain, would you help them? Would you be willing to be prosecuted for their benefit? Most people would, so should the law be changed to make this a more accessible decision. Yes life is sacred, but should it be it be considered a criminal act?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
