Petition Details

The Government must commit to following the current process for all drugs already in the EU clinical trial and approval pipeline.

Additional Information

Doctors and drug companies work in many countries to develop a drug. Drugs in development now will be in Clinical Trial both before and after March 2019.

Bodies like the European Medicines Agency regulate drug approval with a single set of regulations and approval steps.

Developing effective treatments for debilitating diseases will greatly reduce the long-term financial and social cost to the UK.
