Demand HM Government asks if we still want to leave the European Union
The British people were not given sufficient and accurate information of the effects of staying in or leaving the European Union prior to the referendum.
We are of the opinion that in the original referendum we were not given adequate information as to the consequences of remaining or leaving;
that the leave and remain campaigners relied on information that was incomplete and inaccurate (for true contribution details see HM Treasury, European Finances 2016);
that we were never made aware of the complications of leaving especially the Irish border issue, domicile issues for both British and European expatriates, the risk of non-tariff barriers, the cost of funding commitments entered into prior to leaving (the so-called exit fee).
