A second vote regarding omission of animal sentience from the EU withdrawal Bill
Parliament has voted to drop animal sentience from the EU (withdrawal) Bill, threatening hard-fought-for protection laws previously established under EU regulations.
Parliament has voted to drop animal sentience from the EU (withdrawal) Bill.
Please contact your local MP and ask them how they voted. Ask them how they can deny that animals feel pain and suffering.
To protect animals, sentience must be clearly stated in law.
We must present our MP's with scientific facts regarding animal sentience and demand another vote based on evidence and not based on a desire for a fast and easy Brexit.
