Include animal sentience in the EU Withdrawal Bill.
In a recent parlimentary vote the House of Commons voted against transferring an EU clause which recognises animal sentience into post Brexit UK law.
This clause ensures that the welfare of animals as sentient beings is considered when any policy that impacts them is created.
