Petition Details

Animals are sentient beings, this is currently recognised in EU law. MPs have voted to reject the inclusion of this clause into UK law.

Post Brexit, there will be no requirement for Governments to treat animals as sentient beings, or for them to pay 'full regard' to their welfare'
