Stop paper wastage at checkouts
Unless requested for expense claim or gift purposes (or perhaps supermarket shopping) till receipts are unnecessary. The wastage of paper globally on these receipts alone must be huge. Let`s save paper (and trees) and stop issuing till receipts. We all throw them away, so let`s put a stop to them.

The decision to provide and print receipts is one for individual retailers and not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition asking the UK Government and Parliament to ban all paper till receipts, if that's what you want to happen.
