The drinking age in the uk should be dropped from 18 down too 17.
If the law states an individual is responsible enough and mature enough too drive at the age of 17 how is it that they aren’t saw as old enough too consume alcohol in places like the town or pubs. The law should recognise that those that are 17 years of age are old enough too consume alcohol.
How is it fair too 17 year olds that they are told by the law they are old enough to drive, have children, work and own a house but they are not saw as responsible enough too go out and consume alcohol. Therefore the law should be changed and recognise that at the age of 17 you are old enough too go out and consume alcohol. Yes many can argue that they are still young but how can they justify it when 17 year olds are viewed as eligible parents. Looking at the acts the law should be changed.
