Petition Details

We want UK Govt to require EU to produce its full accounts for entire period of UK membership prior to handing over a penny. Accounts to be independently verified in order to ascertain who owes who what & will enable an itemised bill to be produced either to EU or UK

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about any payment that the UK might make when it leaves the EU, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like to see. In particular, we're not sure what you mean by "independently verified Accounts & itemised Bill". The European Court of Auditors audits the revenue and expenditure of the EU budget every year.
