MPs should vote for their constituents views and not vote how their party whip tells them to.
MPs should only be able to vote in favour of their constituents views and not how their party tells them to via the party whip.
After all we elected them to represent our views and this they seem not be doing. For example, you only have to look at the country’s views in the ITN news poll on whether there should have been a referendum on Europe. The outcome may have been very different if the MPs had ALL voted as the majority of their constituents had wished them to.
