Make gingerism a recognised part of the discrimination law.
My Daughter went to her teacher for help. She plucked up the courage and told her teacher she was getting bullied. The teacher replied by saying Your ginger and Wear glasses says it all. When my Daughter pointed out she could report him. He replied by saying he,d enjoy reading that.
Gingerism seems to be the last socially acceptable "freebie" in our society. When redheads get abuse imagine changing them words with a racist one. Then see how it reads. A red haired person can't change there hair colour like a person can't change there skin colour. It's discrimination and should be treated that way. I want my Daughter to know that her life will be free from cruel discrimanative comments and that she is protected like everyone else. Regarding her appearance.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
The Equality Act 2010 legally protects people from discrimination in the workplace and in wider society. It has a list of "protected characteristics". It's against the law to discriminate against someone because of those characteristics.
You can find out more about this here:
www.gov.uk/discrimination-your-rights
If you'd like hair colour to be added to the list of protected characteristics, you could start a new petition asking for that to happen.
If you'd like to make a complaint about your daughter's teacher's behaviour, you can find out more here:
