The Repeal Bill should only affect the laws expressly required to leave the EU
The vote to remove the recognition of animal sentience and their ability to feel pain from UK law, shows that the government is using the EU (Withdrawal) Bill to sneak through changes to laws and fundamental rights, not required by Brexit, without full public scrutiny.
This should not happen.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
There wasn't a "vote to remove the recognition of animal sentience and their ability to feel pain from UK law".
You can find out more in this House of Commons Library note: researchbriefings.intranet.parliament.uk/ResearchBriefing/Summary/CBP-8155
You could start a new petition asking the Government and Parliament to adopt all EU laws and treaty principles into UK Law, if that's what you want to happen.
If you want the Government and Parliament to Pass legislation making animals legally "sentient beings" in UK law, you may wish to sign this petition instead: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/205348
