Reform the "Run Hide Tell" advice given to the public to be more specific.
The current "Run Hide Tell" advice given to the British public is not detailed enough to sufficiently protect them from the threat posed by terrorism. The NPCC only give basic advice of what to do in the event of an attack instead of informing the public how to avoid being involved in one.
The NPCC must provide more detailed information to the public regarding emergency ballistic shields, the difference between cover and concealment, the ballistic capability of certain weapons and how to respond effectively to both knife and gun attacks as well as suicide bombings. The NPCC fail to provide the public with adequate advice on how to spot the warning signs of an impending attack or threat and how to properly assess a situation and respond appropriately after an attack has begun.
