Exempt from income and council tax the immediate next-of-kin of armed forces personnel killed in action
In recognition of the ultimate sacrifice made by members of our Armed Forces and following the example of Alexander the Great after the Battle of Granicus in 334BC, the immediate next-of-kin of Service personnel killed in action or who die of wounds should be exempt from paying income and council taxes for the remainder of their lives.
