Today a spokesperson for the Prime Minister stated there was no intention of holding a bank holiday. People should be allowed to rejoice in the marriage of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle. There is precedent for this. A bank holiday was granted for the marriage of The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge.
