Bank holiday to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Megan Markle.
Although no direct prescendent exists government should legislate for a bank holiday. The country has endured difficult economic news, polarisation after the Brexit vote and the bank holiday will offer us an opportunity for the country to come together and celebrate our shared heritage.
2012 with it’s various royal events and jubilee was a high point in this decade after the initial years of the economic crash providing the country with a feeling of pride and community.
