Give the British public an extra bank holiday for the royal wedding
The entire country is currently celebrating the joyous news of the engagement of Prince Henry of Wales, and Meghan Markle.
We wish the Government to declare their wedding day a bank holiday, in line with the bank holiday awarded for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
As proud British citizens, it's our patriotic duty to celebrate the royal nuptials. And in these times of Brexit, we need an event like this to bring the country together - particularly when the Royal Family are one of the most distinctive British assets we can boast as a nation.
