To make Child maintenance fair on both parents. non resident parents ripped off
I find Child maintenance is solely unfair for good fathers who try to progress there career but be punished my child maintenance. I have my kids every other week and 5 weeks a year and a very good dad. I took a new job to better myself but was gobsmacked i have to pay £100 a month extra in CMS.
I went from earning £25500 to £32000 and my payments went up £100 a month. I took this new job to have the ability to do more with my kids as my time is so precious but now what I earn extra i have to give out in tax & child maintenance. How is this fair!.
When they work out "overnights" is unfair to & the difference between the "days" bracket. exp i have mine from school Friday to bed time sunday but my ex gets the money for the sunday when they go to bed!! how is this right?change is needed!
