Improve Housing Benefits. HOUSING INVEST
-HB are paid by government, to pay for someone's mortgage (landlord). -Government money has GONE, tenant still in same position. NOTHING CHANGED.
-Housing Invest. council buys a house. Pays mortgage using HB money. tenant pays whatever he can afford to OWN a percentage.
-No need for additional fund. as there is already money allocated for housing benefits (in Billions).
- Use this money to pay for shared mortgage between tenants and council/government.
-This will INVEST money rather than just spending. -Tenant pays whatever they can afford as they already are paying, but instead of paying rent, they BUY whatever they can.
-IMPORTANT IMPACT. this will incourage people to do small/basic jobs knowing they can buy even as small as 10%. -This can be regulated.
