The government will not recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital & condem the US
The move by the US will have a detrimental impact on the peace process and would heighten tensions in the region.
The British government should refuse to deal with Israeli businesses operating in occupied territory, setting itself on a clearly differentiated course from the US.
