Lower the amount of time homeless people have to live on streets for.
A lovely lady started a group on Facebook to help the homeless. I have helped out as I could and have found out that they are expected to be homeless for 5 years before they will be given any help. This is way to long. A lot can happen in 5 years and with our winters getting colder it's dangerous.
I have meet a few homeless people in a town not far from me. They are human just like everyone else but they are not being treated as such. They are really nice people and very greatful for anything they can get. It not right to expect people to be homeless for 5 years that's way to long and people do die in the cold weather. We need your help.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the amount of time homeless people live on the streets, but we're not sure what you'd like the Government do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
