Keep Birtish Summer Time not Central European Time.
Ministers are consider moving clocks forward an hour for a three-year trial next 25 March 2012
That would involve adopting Central European Time, with Birtish Summer Time (BST) plus one hour in summer and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) plus one in winter.
However, there is opposition to the idea from the Scottish government on the grounds that dark mornings would make life difficult for outdoor workers and lead to increased numbers of road accidents.
This would also be increased death of school children with darker mornings, which was main point of not changing to Central European Time at the last review of BST.
So I say stay with Birtish Summer Time and reject this three-year trail to Central European Time.
