Single train fares should be 50% in cost of a return fare

Additional Information

The difference in price between a single fare train ticket and a return ticket is disproportionately ludicrous. Sometimes the difference can be a mere 70 pence on £25 pound journey. If the government introduced legislation restricting the amount which could be charged on a single ticket this would encourage more people to use the train and thus benefit the green agenda.
