To recogniise the service of ‘Wildcat Pete’ - Pete Wilde to the Rockin scene.
Legendary and much loved Rock n Roll / Rockabilly DJ who has been influential in his tireless dedication and passion for keeping current a music style with a huge underground following for almost half a century.
Pete Wilde known as ‘ Wildcat Pete’ has been instrumental in the Rock n Roll and Rockabilly scene resurgence in the 70’s. An ever present for nearly 50 years and hugely popular in the UK and Europe, DJing and compereing at countless gigs, festivals and weekenders here and all over the world. Wildcat Pete is as iconic to the British Rock n Roll culture as the Teddy Boy or Cafe Racing Rocker and should have this service to the music genre he has dedicated his life to recognised and awarded.
