End Child Poverty & Homelessness before issuing new passports
The government has announced plans to spend £490m changing British passports when we leave the EU.
We the undersigned feel that such an expenditure is inappropriate at a time when hundreds of thousands of children live homeless and in poverty. We request that childhood poverty be eliminated first.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the UK Government to increase funding for specific policies or projects to help with child poverty and homelessness.
