Greed Tax
We are totally appalled at the obscene levels of remuneration being paid to top executives and company directors, whilst the majority of the population is having no increase in income or a cut.
We deplore the average 49% rise in remuneration to the top people in business and the city over the past year.
We believe that no-one is worth the sort of money being paid to top directors and senior executives and want the government to take action to prevent this happening.
We require the government to insitute a 'Greed' tax on all incomes over £500,000 levied at a rate of 45% over and above the 50% top rate of tax.
This will enable these overpaid earners to make a proper contribution to the reduction of the UK debt and to pay for decent public services.
