No higher rate of income tax for Military personnel in Scotland.
The SNP in Scotland have increased income tax for all those living and working in Scotland. Members of the Armed Forces go where they are told to go, they have no choice about where they serve, consequently they should not pay the higher rates of tax set by the SNP.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This decision about the rates of income tax in Scotland is the responsibility of the Scottish Government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
The Scottish Parliament has its own Public Petitions Committee. If you'd like to send your petition to the Scottish Parliament, you can find out more here:
http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/gettinginvolved/petitions/index.aspx
Alternatively, you could start a petition calling on the UK Government to work with the Scottish Government to agree an exemption for military personnel serving in Scotland.
