Reduce income tax allowance discrepancy between UK worker & Tier2 employee
A UK worker receives no taxfree allowance for paying utility bills, rent or council tax. Also, pays compulsory NI.
A seconded worker under Tier2 Inter-Company Transfer scheme gets tax free allowance for paying utility bills, rents & council tax under Dispensation model plus optional NI for 2 years
ICT worker with £40,000 annual salary receives 20-40% of salary (£700-£1200 per month) as tax free allowance.
E.g. Gross Pay=£40,000
Annual Income tax paid by ICT worker is £2,818.20
UK worker pays £9,518.52
A normal UK worker pays 3 times the tax paid by a person on Tier2 seconded employee. Can government explain the reason behind this discrimination between UK & Non-UK employed person?
Can government and HMRC explain what are the benefits of this system to the Great Britain & wider public?
