Stop Islington Council additional £2 per hour for diesel vehicles to park.
The Mayor Of London and the Government already controls what we pay to drive in and around London therefore a local authority has no right to add additional taxes on top of what we already pay.
From Islington Councils web site:
Diesel Surcharge on Short Stay Parking
From January 2018, an additional charge of £2 per hour will apply to all diesel vehicles paying for short stay parking in Islington. This is to help reduce harmful emissions and improve air quality on Islington.
