Lower the cervical smear test age to 17
Every year, around 3,000 women will be diagnosed with cervical cancer.
I was diagnosed at age 23 with a grade 3 cervical carcinoma combined with a rare neuroendocrine tumour 2 years prior to a routine smear test and had I waited those 2 years, my cancer would have been inoperable.
Every women is vulnerable.
Please help me give more women the screenings they are entitled to; don't make them wait.
