Deny The Release Of John Worboys "The Black Cab Rapist" From Leaving Prison.

Petition Details

Worboys gave his victims drug-laced champagne before attacking them in the back of his cab.The following year, after his conviction, police said other women had come forward and that the suspected number of his victims now totalled more than 100. A clear and present danger to women and young girls

This isn't something that the UK Government and Parliament can do.

Decisions about releasing prisoners into the community are taken by the Parole Board, which is independent. The Government and Parliament can't change the Parole Board's decision.

The Chair of the Justice Committee, the group of MPs that looks at the work of the Ministry of Justice, has said that he is going to recommend that the Committee asks the Chair of the Parole Board to give evidence about what has happened.
