Ban the sale of pre-packaged fresh fruits & vegetables in supermarkets.
Force supermarkets to provide recycled paper bags so that customers can buy only what they need. This is widely practiced around the world.
This will reduce food waste, plastic pollution, and the amount of money you spend when the only option is to buy multipacks of the perishables that you want.
