Make financial awareness a compulsory syllabus in the UK public education system
With the perils of debt, the practical teaching of topics such as finance is vital. Children should know about the value of money and the difference between income and capital by 16. The outcome could mean that younger people find it easier to get on the housing ladder. It could help with depression
