Fairer Petrol/Diesel Prices at the Pumps
As a road user, for the majority it requires us to purchase fuel on a regular basis I am absolutely disgusted at the way we are being treated by fuel retailers.
As soon as the oil price goes up so does prices at the pumps. The impact of these rises is significant to everyone.
What gets my goat is that my local petrol price has remained at £1.37 over the past month, however the oil price has decreased by 9% over the past month.
So why am I not seeing a price decrease at the pumps.
I want the government to explore a mechanism where prices at the pumps are more realistically aligned to oil prices and better regulation of fuel retailers to ensure fairness all round.
We will not tolerate being ripped off by fuel retailers.
