UK citizens welcome Trump to a state visit & want the government to do the same
We believe Donald Trump should have a state visit and our government should openly express their welcome to the US president too.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn have made false statements that the majority of the UK would not welcome the US president Donald Trump to visit London.
This is not expressing the opinion of the general UK public, but only their own. We believe that the democratically elected US president should be welcomed on a state visit by our government to continue the history of the great relationship our two countries have.
