Replace plastic bags for loose fruit & vegetables in shops with paper bags
The 5p plastic bag charge raised awareness of the impact of plastic bags. Supermarkets still provide no alternative to plastic bags for loose fruit and vegetables: a family may require 10 plastic bags per shop. We should legislate to have these plastic bags replaced with biodegradable paper bags.
