Require winter tyres on all vehicles from 1st November to 31st March each year
Reduce risk of accidents on roads in winter conditions. Motorists stuck on the motorways in winter like on the M74 16th-17th Jan 2018 less likely. Uncleared roads generally still passable. Makes the roads safer for those who use winter tyres already.
