We would like the livestock act 1953 to be amended to include alpaca and llama.
Our Alpaca boys were attacked by two lurchers, leaving them traumatised & having to re-home. No prosecution was possible as the dogs do not fall under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, and llamas and alpacas are not protected by the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953.
We think this act should be amended to protect these animals.
