Make it mandatory for every child attending school to sing the national anthem
It should be mandatory for every child attending a UK school to sing the National Anthem at least once per week. This will help in getting children back to being proud of where we come from, and help understand our values and heritage.
It doesn't have to encroach on their learning time as it could be done during registration or during an assembly

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government and Parliament can't make this compulsory across the UK. The UK Government and Parliament are only responsible for schools in England.
If you'd like this to happen, you could start a new petition asking for that.
If you'd like it to happen in the other nations of the UK, that would be the responsibility of the devolved governments.
