Allow the Bayeux Tapestry to be displayed in 1066 Country during its UK stay.
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has indicated that he will allow the Bayeux Tapestry to travel outside France for the first time in 950 years. Local people in 1066 Country - where the Conqueror first landed and where the famous battle was fought - want the tapestry to be exhibited there.
