Petition Action

Stop the exploitation of live music fans by banning ticket resale websites

Petition Details

Ticket resale websites are a modern day crime and should be completely outlawed.

These websites, many of which are owned by the supposed legitimate ticketing websites, sell tickets at hugely inflated prices within moments of them being sold out on normal outlets.

Anyone smell a rat?

Additional Information

On 18th January 2018, general presale for Myles Kennedy's Uk Tour in March opened at 9:00:00 on Ticketmaster. By 9:00:10, they had sold out and were on www.getmein.com for resale, a site owned by Ticketmaster.

On 19th January 2018, the remaining tickets went on sale at 9:00:00 on Ticketmaster. By 9:00:10, they had sold out and yet, unsurprisingly enough they were on www.getmein.com for resale, a site owned by Ticketmaster.
