Stop acceptance of illegal immigrants from Calais
On January 18th 2018, the Prime Minister, Theresa May, agreed that the UK should pay an extra £44.5 million to strengthen the UK border at Calais. Additionally she agreed with President Macron that potential immigrants should be 'fast tracked' into the UK.
This will cause a huge influx of immigrants (already in a safe country) into Calais. It may even cause further loss of life as migrants make the decision to leave their country of origin.
The British people were not consulted about this policy. We do not want it.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about illegal immigration through Calais, but we're not sure what specific action you'd like Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
