Prosecute those guilty of FGM.
FGM has been illegal since 1985 and not one single parent has been prosecuted for this barbaric crime against their daughters. Parents who beat, sexually abuse or neglect their children are arrested, prosecuted and the child is removed from their care. The rules of law must apply to ALL children.
in England from April 2015 to December 2016 there were 10,067 new cases of FGM recorded.
