Make it compulsory for supermarket chains to display air miles on fruit.
Fresh fruit often travels to the UK by air, which creates huge amounts of CO2. People need the information on packaging to make choices and reduce their CO2 footprint.
Many people do not realise the CO2 of their food, especially when it travels by air. Aeroplanes are huge contributors to climate change.
Providing the air travel information on fruit packaging would give people the tools to reduce their CO2 footprint, and help us stop climate change.
