To make all car manufacturers up date their very inferior locking systems.
someone with the click of a button can just walk away with your car in a few seconds. The latest figures, released under the Freedom of Information Act, showed there has been a rapid increase in car theft, peaking at 85,688 in 2016 - a rise of almost 30 per cent.
And still nothing is being done.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about car locking systems, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like to see.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask Parliament to set legal minimum standards for car locking systems.
