POTHOLES AND DEFECTS IN DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY
The roads in Dumfries and Galloway are not fit for purpose , and more and more dangerous defects are appearing in the major arterial roads and are not being attended to , either timeously or with sufficient longevity to repairs.
After several weeks of bad weather , the existing roads network , both major roads and minor essential roads , are not fit for purpose , and all show signs of neglect and dis-repair. They can be described as appalling , and dangerous , and will potentially cause major damage to vehicles and potential serious injury to road users
Funds must be released to enable this essential work of existing infrastructure, and not enough pressure is being applied to local MP's and elected officials.
